Cox's bazar sea beach is located about 150 kilometers from Chittagong town. It is one of the longest sea beaches in the world about 120km sandy sea beach. People can reach there from Chittagong by bus, air or launch. There are many tribal people who have their own culture, tradition, and religious. Most of the tribal drive their livelihood by selling garland which is made by snail as well as selling fish.

The old history of Cox's bazar-
The modern cox's bazar grab its name from captain "Hiram Cox's"(died 1799) an officer of the "British East Indian Company". Captain Cox was specially mobilised to deal with a century-long conflict between Arakan refugees and local Rakhains.Moreover, Cox's Bazar is also known by the name Panowa, whose literal translation means "yellow flower." Its other old name was "Palongkee".
